Currently, we're catching Winter King Salmon in the coves surrounding our fishing lodge. Our region is known by the commercial salmon trolling fleet as being the wealthiest in the State of Alaska during this time of the year. These fish are milling around our area feeding on herring and shrimp, until they head off to spawn in the beginning of June. Currently, the average trolling time before hooking into one of these chrome beauties is 1 hour!
