Fishing / Self-Guided
ALASKA SELF-GUIDED FISHING
EXPERIENCE ALASKA AT YOUR OWN PACE! If you're looking for a self-guided fishing and wildlife adventure, join our affiliate for the experience of a lifetime!
 Self-guided fishing and adventure guests will be provided with a 16' Lund aluminum boat powered by a Yamaha 25 hp four-stroke engine. The boats are outfitted with fishing rods and reels, a gaff, net, first aid kit, floatation devices, anchor, flare kit, oars and a downrigger. Upon arrival, a staff member will show you your assigned boat, and provide an orientation of the operation and safety aspects.
Accommodations are provided in a three-bedroom cabin with two full-size beds per room and two shared baths. There's a fully outfitted kitchen for you to prepare meals or you can relax at the local restaurant down stairs where meals are served from 6 am to 8 pm daily. For your convenience and to reduce your travel costs, a clothes washer and dryer are also provided.
If you're interested in hiring a local guide for your first day of fishing so you can familiarize yourself with the area and learn some tricks of the trade, we can arrange this for you. We'll need a week-advanced notice prior to your arrival.
Since this is a self-guided experience, you'll be provided with access to a processing area to clean your catch, a vacuum packer and freezer space.

- 7 days / nights$1,348 pp
- Single Occupancy Fee - Additional 75% of Package Price
- Guided Fishing$ 275 pp*

Package Includes
- A 16' Lund aluminum boat powered by a 25 hp four stroke outboard with 6 gals of fuel;
- Vessel safety equipment as required;
- Fishing equipment excluding tackle (tackle and bait can be purchased within their store);
- Access to a fish processing area, vacuum packer and freezer;
- Accommodations with a shared bath and fully outfitted community kitchen;
- Clothes Washer and Dryer.
Not Included
- Transportation from/to your home to Port Protection, Alaska;
- Terminal fishing tackle, hooks, lures, weights or bait;
- State of Alaska fishing license or King Salmon stamp;
- Food or Beverages;
- Wet-lock fish boxes, box liners or vacuum packaging bags;
- Additional fuel beyond the included six gallons
